DAY 1

Skopje 
Arrival at Skopje. Transfer to your hotel. 

 

DAY 2 

Skopje -St. Jovan Bigorski 140km/2h - Ohrid 60km/1h
Visit the old Train station. See the monument of Mother Teresa house and  the Stone Bridge. Continue to the church St. Spas and the church St.Pantelejmon. Enjoy  the great views over Skopj e from The Fortress Kale. Visit to St. Andrej – Matka. Travel to the beautiful St. Jovan Bigorski Monastery. Continue to Lake Ohrid.

 

DAY 3

Ohrid -St.Naum -Ohrid
Visit the Monastery St.Naum on the southeast side of Lake Ohrid. Enjoy the picturesque view of the Ohrid Lake, one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes.  Its astonishingly clean and clear waters, together with the serene stillness of its mountain settings have captivated visitors since prehistoric times.

 

DAY 4 

Ohrid - Bitola 70km/1h
Seethe monument of St. Cyril and Methodius,the two Byzantine brothers, who devised the first Slavic alphabet. Continue to St. Nikola and St. Bogorodica. Go to Lower gate  and visit City Museum. The next stop is the church St. Sofia, Antique theater,which offers a wonderful view of Lake Ohrid. Go through the Upper gate to see the church St. Virgin Mary, St.Klement and Perivleptos. Visit the Gallery of effigies and after that continue on to the Samoil’s fortress. Drive to Bitola. 

 

DAY 5

Bitola
Visit of the archaeological site Heraclea. Visit the long pedestrian street “Sirok Sokak”. It starts at the Bitola Clock Tower and ends in the City Park. Visit the Old Bazaar,  the most beautiful in Macedonia. Continue to the ancientHeraclea Lincestis ruins. Visit the church of St. Georgija - the village of Kurbinovo.

 

DAY 6

Bitola - Prilep (Treskavec Monastery) - Stip 120km/1h20min
Drive to Prilep and visit the  “Treskavec”Monastery which provides spiritual tranquility. Leave for Stip. Visit the church of St John the Baptist located above the left shore of the River Otinja.

 

DAY 7

Stip - Kriva Palanka 90km/1h20min - Skopje 100km/1h
Visit St. Staro Nagoricae church and continue to St. Joachim Osogovski monastery in Kriva Palanka..The monastery complex had always been an important cultural, religious, and educational centre.

 

DAY 8

Skopje
Transfer to the airport.
