Day 1

Bratislava
Arrival transfer.

 

Day 2

Bratislava – Tvrdosin (300km/3h) - Ruzomberok (50km/1h)
Start with the wooden Church of All Saints in Tvrdosin - one of the oldest in the area. Continue to The Articular Protestant Church in Lestiny. Its beautifully painted interior dates back to the 17th and 18th century. Overnight Ruzomberok. 

 

Day 3

Ruzomberok - Svaty kriz – Kezmarok (80km/1h.)
Continue to The Articular Protestant Church in Svaty Kriz, built without a single metal part and its also the only church in Slovakia with a cellar. Then visit The Articular Protestant Church of Holy Trinity in Kezmarok, built in 1717.This unique wooden building  is made of yew and red spruce wood and its ground plan is in the form of a Greek cross. 

 

Day 4

Kezmarok – Hervatov (130km/2h.) – Lukov – Bardejov
Continue to The Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Hervatov. Built by at end of the 15th century, it is the oldest and best preserved wooden churches in Slovakia. The Gothic pictures and wall paintings are the most valuable parts of its interior. The next stop is The Church of St. Kozma and Damian in Lukov. The architectural particularity of this church is the overhanging attic on pillars around the building. Overnight in Bardejov.

 

Day 5

Bardejov – Ladomirova- Bodruzal - Snina (70km./1h.20min.)
The trip goes to The Church of Archangel Michael in Ladomirova where you`ll see several icons and other sacral objects. Next is The Church of St. Nicholas in Bodruzal. Continue to Snina for overnight.

 

Day 6

Snina – Ruska bystra – Hronsek (330km./4h.30min.) – Zvolen
Leave for The Church of St. Nicholas in Ruska Bystra. The interior in  Baroque and Rococo style is from the beginning of the 18th century. The next attraction is The Articular Protestant Church in Hronsek - build of solid oak and red spruce. Ovenight in Zvolen.

 

Day 7

Zvolen 
Transfer to the airport.
