Day 1

Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

Ljubljana
Stroll around and enjoy the city. Have a walk in the Old town, squeezed between the castle hill and Ljubljanica river. Explore the well preserved medieval buildings and atmosphere. The perfectly safe narrow lanes lead to charming little squares and buildings. Get to Ljubljana Castle and enjoy the magnificent views of the city.

Day 3

Ljubljana - Postojna – Piran 70km/1h
Drive to Postojna Cave. Enjoy the wonders of nature of various shapes and colours. Continue to Predjama medieval castle perched high in the middle of a cliff. Departure to Piran.

Day 4

Piran - Portoroz – Nova Gorica 100km/1h30min
Have a walk in Piran, which is probably the most beautiful of Slovenia's coastal towns. Drive to Portoroz or "Port of Roses", one of Slovenian most popular beach resorts. Travel to Secovlje Salt pans. Continue to Nova Gorica. Visit the vineyard region of Goriska Brda. Taste local wines.

Day 5

Nova Gorica – Kobarid 50km/1h - Bled 90km/2h
Continue to Kobarid, known for the famous Battle of Caporetto. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Julian Alps and  Napolean,s bridge. Visit the WW1 museum. Travel to Bled. Enjoy the romantic scenery.

Day 6

Bled - Skofja Loka - Bled
Explore the little white church on an island in the center of an emerald green mountain lake. See the Bled Castle perched high above, amidst the Julian Alps. Continue to Skofja Loka, the medieval town with a castle that rises above the confluence of the two Soca rivers. One of Slovenia's most famous books Visoška hronika by Ivan Tavar was set here. Return to Bled.

Day 7

Bled – Bohinj – Ljubljana 80km/1h30min
The tour starts with a drive to the spectacular Lake Bohinj. Visit Sheppard’s museum and taste the best Slovenian cheese. Continue back to Ljubljana.

Day 8

Transfer to the airport.
