Day 1

Prague
Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 2

Prague
Start at the microbrewery Suchdolsky Jenik (Jack´s), which forms a part of the Czech Agricultural University. Enjoy a sightseeing tour with the help of a local brewer. Transfer to Brewster Yard Chyne and visit the first private brewery. Enjoy the beer tasting. Departure  to the Monastery Brewery in Strahov which has been the most successful mini brewery for the past two years,  . Explore the local specials. Pass the small breweries of Motol and Kosire and the former Schwarzenberg Brewery. Take a walk down the Castle Hill, enjoying one of the most fascinating views of Prague.

 

Day 3

Prague - Plsen (90km/1h30min)
Travel to Plsen. Explore the former and well-preserved industrial  Prior brewery.  Visit the mini brewery Knight Lochota to take a taste of alternative Pilseners. Continue to the youngest mini brewery “The Groll” to savour the beer Lotr and to inspect the site with the brewer. Visit the unique Brewery Museum and learn more about the history of Czech brewing. Taste the unfiltered Pilsener Urquel. See the protected historical site of former Svetovar Brewery. The tour ends in the Brewery Purkmistr of Cernice. Taste a couple of special beers in the maturing cellar.

 

Day 4

Plsen – Ceske Budejowice (140km/2h30min)
Departure to Cesky Krumlov in Southern Bohemia. Explore the secrets of how the world-famous Budweiser Budvar lager is made. Find out how the best quality domestic ingredients, water drawn from the brewery’s more than 300 meter deep wells and top-class brewer’s yeast are used to make the beer popular throughout the world. See how the centuries of tradition are incorporated in the modern technology producing the Original Czech Premium Lager Budweiser Budvar.

 

Day 5

Ceske Budejowice - Prague (150km/2h30min)
Departure to Prague and the New-Town Brewery in the city centre. Take a walk along Wenceslas Square, Prikopy Prom and Hybernian Passage. Visit the Brewing Club, known for its pico-brewery and a restaurant serving 200 types of beer. Learn more about the history of the site and the local beer gastronomy where each dish is matched by an appropriate type of beer. Continue to Bulovka Brewery, famed for its choice of beers produced by upper fermentation technology.

 

Day 6

Prague
Transfer to the airport.
