Day 1  

Prague
Arrival at Prague airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 2   

Prague
In the morning join the  Half-day guided city tour Start by walking down through the Old Town and around Old Town Square to see the famous Astronomical Clock at the edge of the old Town. See the Tin Church, Powder Tower, Municipal House, Jewish Quarter. Continue from there down toward the Vltava River and walk across Charles Bridge. Afternoon: Prague Castle Across the Vltava River and up the hill to the most massive castle complex in continental Europe: Prague Castle. We’ll tour the impressive Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica and St. Vitus Cathedral. We finish a tour at Golden Lane, with its amazing atmosphere of Kafka’s Prague. Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 3

Prague-Karlstejn Castle-Prague (60 km/1.30 min)
Afternoon: Discover Prague by Yourself. Optional: Boat cruise along Vltava River. Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 4

Prague – Karlovy Vary – Prague (260km/4.20 min)
Karlovy Vary is a spa-town with a long  history. As it is a place with mineral springs, it was discovered and established in the Middle Ages. It is a serene, beautiful place with gracious colonnades and picturesque boulevards surrounded by forest. The invigorating waters are used to treat all kinds of health disorders and for general well-being. In the past Karlovy Vary was visited by the Russian Tsar – Peter the Great and the German poet Wolfgang von Goethe and many others… Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 5

Prague – Konopiste – Prague (100km/1.30 min)
A half-day tour to Konopiste, the former seat of the successor to the Habsburg throne Franz Ferdinand d’Este, it was originally a castle from the 14th century.  Ferdinand used it as his family’s seat until his assassination in Sarajevo, which launched World War I.  Konopiste Chateau contains Ferdinand’s art collection as well as his hunting trophies. Afternoon: Municipal House One of the best Art Nouveau architectural style buildings in Prague. Designed around the turn of the 20th century, this landmark building is a popular concert hall and home of the Prague Royal Orchestra. The domed mosaic above the main entrance and the allegorical statue groups to either side represent elements of Prague s history and culture.  Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 6

Prague – Cesky Krumlov – Prague (360km/5 h)
We depart for Cesky Krumlov, which is unique historical town with castle complex, overlooking the town, one of the largest in central Europe. Its Baroque Theatre is a pearl of world heritage. The amazing historical centre of the town with medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture is registered as UNESCO World heritage site. Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 7

Prague – Krivoklat – Prague (km/min)
The Gothic Castle Krivoklat is one of the oldest castles of Czech Republic. In the first half of the 13th century Wenceslas I. started to build a stone castle on this site. During the reign of Wenceslas’s son Premysl II the castle gained special importance. Today we can see the gorgeous Castle Chapel and many other attractions in the castle: The tower with a collection of hunting trophies, a library with 52.000 volumes and even an observatory… Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 8

Time to shop in Prague
Wenceslas Square in Prague is a vibrant area of hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs. There are also banks and an array of local and international shops. This is the nightlife and entertainment center of Prague, and Prague's main shopping district begins here. Prague is a great place to shop for Czech souvenirs. The center of Prague is filled with souvenir shops offering all kinds of typical Czech goods: wooden toys, jewelry, crystal items. Before flight back, walk to Wenceslas square where you can choose your souvenirs. Afternoon: transfer to the airport for final departure.
