Day 1

BAKU
Arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel.

 

Day 2

BAKU
Participants of this excursion are recommended to visit the Old City. Here you will find several historical monuments, including the Maiden Tower - the symbol of the city. There are shops selling carpets and antiques, including a carpet workshop-museum where you may buy any type of carpet imaginable. And here, in the Carpet workshop-museum, you will be able to see the best collection of carpets in the country.

 

Day 3

BAKU – GUBA (170km/3h) – BAKU 
Departure to Guba in the morning. The program includes visits to places of interest such as Juma Mosque (19th century), Sakina Khanum Mosque (19th century) and of course, a Carpet-weaving workshop. You will have the opportunity to see how carpets, copies of which are kept in the world's best museums, are woven. In Gachresh village, which is frequented by visitors from different parts of Azerbaijan to enjoy incomparably beautiful nature, you can taste shashlik and other dishes of traditional cuisine. Return to Baku.

 

Day 4

BAKU – ISMAYILLI (175km/3h) – BAKU 
One of the most beautiful corners of Azerbaijan, at the foot of the Great Caucasus Mountains - the land of rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Three climate zones are represented in the same place in this region, ranging from snowy mountains to hot plains.The itinerary passes through Lagich village, which is a commercial centre. This village is inhabited by hereditary tanners, engravers, potters, blacksmiths, and metal and wood carvers. During the excursion, you will see an ancient bridge connecting two villages, a stone water-pipe from the 16th century, and specimens of dwellings from the 19th century with murals; we will also visit the Museum of regional studies, where ancient carpets and brass articles are kept. Return to Baku.
