Day1

Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 2

ZAGREB
Explore the medieval Upper Town. Walk along the cobble stone streets with red tile roof buildings. Visit St. Mark’s Church that includes many works of Ivan Mestrovic, Croatia's most famous sculptor. Continue to the Cathedral. See the Croatian National Theatre building and the University. Overnight Zagreb.

 

Day 3

ZAGREB - RIJEKA 150km/2h
Travel to Rijeka, the principal seaport of Croatia. Stroll along the the main pedestrian street Orzo and continue with a visit of the maritime museum. Climb the stairs to Trsat to visit its recently-restored fortress and several historic churches. Overnight Rijeka.

 

Day 4

RIJEKA - PLITVICE 180km/2h30min
The tour goes to the Plitvice Lakes National Park on the UNESCO’s  List of World Natural Heritage sites. The park is a breathtaking natural splendor, which harbours a grand collection of waterfalls, lakes, forest and a diversity of animal life. It represents a phenomenon of karst hydrography. Day 5

PLITVICE -SPLIT260km/3h
Departure to  Split.  The tour starts with a visit to Diocletian’s Palace, the massive building built by the Roman emperor Diocletian. Explore the Peristyle, the Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Overnight Split.

 

Day 6

SPLIT -ZADAR160km/2h
Travel to  Zadar. See the Roman Forum, the largest on the eastern side of the Adriatic, founded by the first Roman Emperor Augustus. Visit St. Donatus Church, one of the most impressive churches and the largest Pre-Romanesque building in Croatia.  Overnight Zadar.

 

Day 7

ZADAR - DUBROVNIK 450km/4h30min
Travel to Dubrovnik. Start the sightseeing tour in the afternoon. Enjoy Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Explore the Franciscan Monastery and Europe’s third oldest pharmacy. Overnight Dubrovnik.

 

Day 8

DUBROVNIK
Today the tour goes to the Rector’s Palace, a harmonious Gothic and Renaissance palace with certain Baroque additions. Visit the Cathedral and find the Cathedral Treasury. Time at leisure. Overnight Dubrovnik.

Transfer to the airport.
