Romania

This is a land of many contrasts, beautiful rocky peaks, regal landscapes, bustling cities and medieval villages and amazing castles on hilltops but above all a land of folklore and ancient traditions. The beautiful capital city Bucharest with its mix of ancient architecture and buildings from the communist era has many wonderful sites to visit. In Transylvania there is a lovely intact medieval town and go back in time when you visit a world famous painted monastery in Bucovina.  These are just some of the many interesting places and sights to see when visiting Romania.
